# What to ask

> Every question on this page was asked against real Palagus data through a connected assistant and answered correctly (12 questions, 2026-10-01). Ask them in your own words — the wording does not have to match.

## Visibility

Where you stand, on which engine, and how it developed.

<Card title={"“Break down our visibility by AI engine.”"}>
  Your visibility on ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and the other engines you track, and the engine where you are named most.

  [Get project overview](/tools#get_project_overview)
</Card>

<Card title={"“How has our visibility developed over the last month?”"}>
  A day-by-day curve for you and every competitor, each point with the number of answers behind it.

  [Get project timeline](/tools#get_project_timeline)
</Card>

<Card title={"“Compare our visibility against competitors in Switzerland.”"}>
  The ranking for the answers collected in that country only — you and every competitor, with the gap to each.

  [Get project overview](/tools#get_project_overview)
</Card>

## Competitors

Who is ahead where — and whether the gap is real.

<Card title={"“Which competitor gained the most visibility this week?”"}>
  Each competitor's change against the period before — and whether the largest one is beyond the measurement's margin or just noise.

  [Get project overview](/tools#get_project_overview)
</Card>

<Card title={"“In which topics does a competitor lead us?”"}>
  Per topic, the strongest competitor and the gap to it — marked behind, ahead or level against the margin.

  [Get project overview](/tools#get_project_overview)
</Card>

<Card title={"“Which brand do AI answers name first most often?”"}>
  Every brand's position score — 10 means named at the very start of an answer — so you see who opens the answers.

  [Get project overview](/tools#get_project_overview)
</Card>

<Card title={"“Which AI answers name a competitor but not us?”"}>
  The answers where the competitor is named and you are not — with the engine, the question asked and the passage itself.

  [List responses](/tools#list_responses)
</Card>

## Answers and sources

What the engines actually say, and which sites they rely on.

<Card title={"“Show me ChatGPT answers about our price that mention us — in their own words.”"}>
  The matching answers with the passage that contains the word, and the full text of any one of them on request.

  [List responses](/tools#list_responses) · [Get response](/tools#get_response)
</Card>

<Card title={"“Which websites do AI answers cite most for our prompts?”"}>
  The most cited sites, each marked as yours, a competitor's or a third party's, with how many answers cite it.

  [Get top sources](/tools#get_top_sources)
</Card>

<Card title={"“Which prompts mention our brand most often?”"}>
  Your tracked questions ranked by how often the answers name you, with visibility, share of voice and position for each.

  [List prompts](/tools#list_prompts)
</Card>

## Sentiment and coverage

How you are described, and what your prompt set does not cover yet.

<Card title={"“Show topics where our sentiment dropped.”"}>
  Your sentiment per topic against the period before, with the drops that are real set apart from those within the margin.

  [Get project overview](/tools#get_project_overview)
</Card>

<Card title={"“Which personas have no prompts yet?”"}>
  Every persona with the number of prompts asked as them — the ones at zero have no data at all.

  [List personas](/tools#list_personas)
</Card>

## Add to your setup

If you allowed it when you connected, the assistant can also add prompts and topics to a project, or start an extra run of a prompt you already track. Each new prompt runs once right away and uses run budget, so your assistant can ask you first.

*These were not tried against our data for this page, because each one starts paid runs.*

## Tips

* Start with “List my Palagus projects” and name the project you mean.
* Say the time window: “this week”, “last month”, or two dates of your own.
* Name competitors, engines, topics or countries when you mean them — every number can be narrowed down that way.
* Ask for the answers themselves when a number surprises you: the assistant can quote what the engine wrote.
* When a change looks big, ask whether it is beyond the margin. Palagus tells the assistant.

  **Want a finished analysis instead?** The [six reports](/reports) run a whole checklist — a weekly pulse, a drop diagnosis, a campaign before-and-after — with one choice.
